\u00a0Soon to be released on CAN\u2019T BE SERIOUS RECORDS, a new album by DAZIE MAE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Recorded in the spring of 2012 at BOP CITY recording studio in Paris. This is the band third album to date. The first one to be released on CD.<\/em><\/p>\n

SONGS MATURED IN OAK is a collection of 13 songs written with the help of large quantity of liquor (matured in oak). The band clearly finds inspiration with varied aspects of \u201clove & hate relationships\u201d. Whether you fight against alcohol addiction (\u201cThe Bottlefield song\u201d), depression (\u201cSad depressed & lonely\u201d), separation (\u201cThe Winter of my first love\u201d) or fear (\u201cFrozen on the outskirts of your heart\u201d). \u201cDice man\u201d was inspired by Luke Rhinehart\u2019s novel. For convenience sake, you can excuse any wrong doings against all odds. \u201cDouble Blues \u201ccan well be the way you see things after much of the \u201cmatured in oak\u201d experience.<\/p>\n

SONGS MATURED IN OAK brings a new pallet of sounds and colors, a touch of vintage and a \u201cm\u00e9lange des genres\u201d. There is no way the band will be pigeon holed, when all element of jazz, blues & folk can be softly mixed together (even with a zest of pop).<\/p>\n

As this album is highly unlikely to be reviewed by any of the big industry media and will unfortunately not benefit from any promotional budget. You are strongly requested encouraged (if you like what you hear of course) to spread the good word around.<\/p>\n
