\u201cFROTH ON A DAYDREAM\u201d is freely inspired Boris Vian\u2019s cult novel \u201cL\u2019Ecume des jours\u201d, published in 1947. The novel tells the love story of Colin and Chloe, whose tragic ending is due to the girl\u2019s mysterious illness: a water lily in her lungs…<\/p>\n

Celebrated over the past 60 years as one of the most beloved piece of French literature, \u201cL\u2019Ecume des jours\u201d is a surrealistic tale that inspired Dazie Mae in crafting 20 songs & instrumental pieces blending together blues, jazz & cabaret (and even a drop of bossa-nova and country music!).<\/p>\n

The album will be available on December, 8th 2015 on CD and on most popular digital platforms.<\/p>\n

About DAZIE MAE<\/em>
\nDazie Mae is a French band created in Paris in the early 00\u2019s. In 2009, their first album \u201cVelvet Dress & Stockings\u201d is released under the independent label Can’t Be Serious Records. The single \u201cSofa\u201d is used by luxury brand Dior for in-door advertising, by American stylist Andrew Christian, as well as by Swedish movie director Erika Lust for her movie \u00ab\u00a0Cabaret Desire\u00a0\u00bb. In 2012 and 2013, the song \u201cSad, Depressed & Lonely\u201d from the album \u201cSongs Matured in Oak\u201d is one of French national radio FIP’s selections. \u201cTime with my lover\u201d, from the same album, appears in director’s Malik Barnhardt movie \u201cC’est la vie\u201d (2014).<\/p>\n
